Susan trained as both a performer and teacher at The Edinburgh Theatre School where she graduated with dance and teaching qualifications from The Royal Academy of Dance and The Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing. She has taught extensively in Glasgow and established herself as a teacher and lecturer training students on various professional dance and musical theatre courses in schools and colleges in Glasgow. Susan is now the founder of ‘Performers Dance Academy’ and ‘Sculpt Callanetics’.
Susan’s choreography work includes pieces for pantomime, musicals, festivals and showcases.Susan has an enhanced disclosure enabling her to work with children. The latest addition to Susan’s qualifications is The Certificate in Dance Education with The Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing and postgraduate certificate in further education. Susan is also a qualified teacher of MAE Technique having trained with master teacher Mary Adams and completed her certification in November 2018.
Teacher: Nanette Wilson AISTD, ASDTA
Nanette trained at The Lillian McNeill School Of Dancing where she graduated with dance teaching qualifications from The Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing. She has twelve years of teaching experience with both children and full-time dance students, and also has experience in working with children with special needs. Nanette has an enhanced disclosure enabling her to work with children.
Nanette is one of the teachers at the Kirkintilloch school and also runs her own dance academy.
Teacher: Morven Murray
Morven trained at The Lillian McNeil school of dancing gaining an HND in Professional Stage Dance. She then went on to work professionally with Main Feature Productions in contracts abroad & in the U.K. She has a wide range of teaching experience & is a member of the RAD, ISTD, BATD, UDO & a Higher Dance Instructor. She had also danced & coached competition teams, winning at Scottish & world Championships & has performed for royalty at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. Morven teaches street dance and adult classes at the Bearsden School as well as teaching at the Kirkintilloch School.
