Principal and teacher: Susan Winton RAD Teaching Dip; RAD RTS; AISTD; ALCM

Susan trained as both a performer and teacher at The Edinburgh Theatre School where she graduated with dance and teaching qualifications from The Royal Academy of Dance and The Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing. She has taught extensively in Glasgow and established herself as a teacher and lecturer training students on various professional dance and musical theatre courses in schools and colleges in Glasgow. She was then appointed as Head of Dance for a Glasgow based Musical Theatre College and is now the founder of ‘Performers Dance Academy’.

Susan’s choreography work includes pieces for pantomime, musicals, festivals and showcases.

Susan has an enhanced disclosure enabling her to work with children and is a certified first aider.

The latest addition to Susan’s qualifications is The Certificate in Dance Education with The Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing and postgraduate certificate in further education.  Susan is also a tutor for SQA Higher Dance.

Teacher: Nanette Wilson AISTD, ASDTA

Nanette trained at The Lillian McNeill School Of Dancing where she graduated with dance teaching qualifications from The Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing. She has twelve years of teaching experience with both children and full-time dance students, and also has experience in working with children with special needs. Nanette has an enhanced disclose enabling her to work with children.

Nanette is one of the teachers at the Kirkintilloch school and also runs her own dance academy.
