Classes

Performers Dance Academy provides a range of classes for pre-school, infants, young children and teenagers. Classes include:

• Nursery Classes
  Nursery Classes are intended to introduce children to the joy of dancing to music. They are encouraged to develop their imagination & co-ordination skills & although the atmosphere is relaxed, the children learn how to work in a disciplined manner.

• Pre-Junior & Junior 1 Classes
  Pre-Junior and Junior 1 classes are intended as an introduction to the more formal styles of ballet, tap and modern/jazz.

• Junior 2 & 3Classes
  Junior 2 & 3 classes are intended as a development of the dance styles of ballet, tap & modern/jazz.

• Pre Senior & Senior Classes
  Pre Senior & Senior classes further develop the student's skills and ability in ballet, tap, modern and jazz as they progress through the levels. Senior students also have the opportunity to participate in the 'funky dance' class.

Children will be grouped in terms of ability and not necessarily in terms of age. Please contact the school for advice about classes and class times.
